In the mid 1970’s I had the unique experience of getting to know the Greenwell family – Norman and Jean Greenwell, their son (I believe his name was Tom), and their daughter Elizabeth. I also met various other family members, and they all treated a visitor from Texas with wonderful hospitality. I’m sure things have changed considerably since then, but I hope to return to the Big Island again soon. Perhaps someone could tell me if Elizabeth is still living on the island.

    Thank you,

Aloha Jackson, Thank you for taking the time to post your comments. You are correct, some things have changed here since the 1970’s. Tom is President of Greenwell Farms, Elizabeth is off island, but Greenwell Farms still produces award winning 100% Kona Coffee. If you have not visited since the 1970’s, it is time for you to return. Greenwell Farms gives farm tours seven days a week. You are invited to return and join us for an educational, and enjoyable tour of Greenwell Farms.
